Athletics day

This week my school did athletics. Athletics is when you do activities such as, long jump, high jump, shot put, and discus. We did athletics for the whole day and at first I didn't want to do athletics but when it started it was really fun and I enjoyed most of it . In my opinion I think that high jump was the hardest because the bar was so high for me. The most tiring event of the day in my opinion was the 400 mitre sprint because we had to run a whole lap .  My favourite event of the day was discus because discus was one of my favourites and just like that athletics day was over.

What I learned this week in class

This week my class did bedmas and if you don't know what bedmas is , bedmas is a maths strategy you use when you have an equation like this 22 x 3 - 26 + 42 x 2 / 3= and bedmas helps you solve this equation . Bedmas stands for Brackets,Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition and subtraction. Here is a picture of what we have been learning in class. I really liked doing the bedmas because it was fun and I got to learn a new way to solve a maths equation.

Maori and Tongan language week

                          Tongan language week 

Two weeks ago it was Tongan language week and throughout the week we did activity's related to Tongan language week and this is one of the activity's we had to do.This activity was fun because in the end we had to design a Ngatu Tonga on paper and it is kind of a tapa cloth. To end Tongan language all the class's performed a Tongan dace or some thing related to Tonga.

                              Maori language week

Last week was Maori language week and throughout the week we had to do some slides about Maori language week and how to pronounce Maori words and this is the work we have been doing and we ended the week the same way we ended Tongan language week and a few class performed on stage. Then we did a house haka challenge to see who can do the best haka and Marlborough won . Soon after we did a school haka and that was the end of maori language week. 

Word Mania

Word mania is a spelling game where you connect letters to make words and you when every time you make a word you get points and you have to try and get lots of points and on word mania you can challenge your friends to see who can get the most points i the game. Kindness is never wasted

Kindness is never wasted

Today we learned what kindness is never wasted and that means that when ever your are kind to someone you won't waste your time being kind and that when you are kind you will never get that time back. This is the story we red to understand .

Life Education

This week me and my class went to the life education van and we learned about the brain and all the parts of our brains we also learned about the positive consequences and the negative consequences. We then learned about when we react we don't think about what we are doing and when we are responding we think about what we do. There is also more about what we learned about in the life education van and we also got to see Harold and in the end it was lots of fun.

Samoan language week

This week is Samoan language week and for Samoan language week I had to make a map of Samoa and mark the most famous and the best places in Samoa this is how I did it. I first searched up Samoa on a map and then I tried to find the best places in Samoa and I found the best places and I put it on a google drawing and I out all the best places on the picture on the google drawing and that is how I did it.

                                             

Pink shirt day

Today was pink shirt day and so we wore mufti and pink. pink shirt day is to stand up to bullying and if you ever see some one bullying someone else than you should go up to the bully and tell them to stop and if you just stand/sit there and watch that means that you are also being the bully because you are letting it happen. So lets stop bullying.

                          

The game of awesome

  hi and welcome to my blog today my blog is going to be about the game of awesome. The game of awesome is a fun game with cards but the main idea of the game is that you use your imagination and it is also a writing game it is fun. I recommend it for everyone that likes games and writing.

 so how you play is the judge gives you four cards and then the judge put down the topic card and then you have to choose one of your cards that best match the topic cards and you repeat the same process until you finish all your cards and then you have to make a story out of the four cards.
